Description: Ramseyer Farms is located near Wooster in the heart of Wayne County’s rich agricultural region. Potatoes and pumpkins are the specialties on this 700-acre working crop farm. Since 1999 the Ramseyers have opened the farm every fall for school groups, individuals/families, and groups to share a fun and educational experience during the fall harvest season. The farm is open with regularly scheduled hours in September and October. Visit the farm in August by simply calling ahead to assure staff is on hand for your visit.<br />
<br />
School field trips are a fall specialty. The “Experience the Harvest Farm Tour” and the “Ohio Maze Adventure” are both constructed to be educational experiences that reinforce grade appropriate state content standards.<br />

It has roughly 1,800 students and is located in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio (approximately 60 miles (97 km) south of Cleveland). Founded in 1866 by the Presbyterian church as Wooster University, it was from its creation a co-educational institution. The school is a member of The Five Colleges of Ohio and the Great Lakes Colleges Association. As of June 2008, Wooster's endowment stood at approximately $287 million.<br />
